A letter from the Pastor…

As events and information continue to unfold I have found myself repeating so many verses of scripture; words of comfort and promise, words of strength and courage. They have given me peace in moments of distress, hope in moments of doubt, certainty among so much uncertainty. And it is in times like these that I am deeply grateful for the words of the scripture that affirm who God is for each of us; "God is our refuge and strength, a great help in times of distress." (Psalm 46:1, International Standard Version).

I have been amazed at watching our church be the Church- offering help to any in need, setting up take-home activities for our neighbors, connecting with one another in new ways. The call to practice social distancing is a spiritual discipline that demonstrates our love of neighbor in new ways. To honor this practice we have canceled all in-person gatherings and meetings, including in-person worship on Sunday mornings. We will worship online every Sunday at 9:30am, I encourage you to share this with friends and family.

It is is vital that we continue to gather in prayer, singing, reading scripture and giving generously so we can continue in ministry during these times and beyond. Over the next few weeks there will be more information on connecting through small groups and care groups, as well as training's on new platforms for connecting. My prayer is that we continue to remain connected, living fully as the church, even though we aren't gathering in person.

Please check out the resources below as we will update them regularly.  If you have any questions, concerns, or  issues please reac out to me.

Together in the journey,

Pastor Catherine
